The Garden District is truly grateful for the strong community support we felt this month. Fundraiser Night at Cousins Subs, 3058 E. Layton Ave., St. Francis on April 28. GDNA got a healthy portion of that store’s sales. And the best part was talking with folks who came into the store to support us, and support our all-volunteer work. Even better, we got tel tell new folks about the work we do, and invited them to join us. Thank you, Cousins Subs, and all our supporters that night!
Our next success came from our plant sale at Mavericks, 2030 W. Howard Ave. Our volunteers sold dozens of plants to community members. Between these two events, we netted a very healthy chunk of change that help our community-driven programming reach more people in 2025.
